The Met in Winter
This oil on canvas was done after the blizzard of 1996 when I lived around the corner from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The morning after the storm, I could not wait to see the museum early in the morning with my camera, and then Central Park. It was glorious, empty, and a unique moment never to be repeated quite the same way.
